Mayday-SA has the pleasure of hosting Captain Laurie Ling, a recently retired British Airways captain and experienced pilot peer supporter, as he talks about ideas and skills that we can draw on to help us navigate through uncertainty and our identity as professionals. Captain Ling will also discuss the personal perspectives of Dr Gill Green, a clinical and aviation psychologist with over a decade of working with pilots, cabin crew, engineers and flight operations.
Their combined and very human reflections provide a few essential “skills and insights” to help pilots better understand and navigate the uncertainty that many are currently experiencing.
