Who should join AVPA-SA
- Any flight deck crew member employed by a South African operator in an active flying capacity shall be eligible to apply for Ordinary Membership of AVPA-SA
- Any licenced Air Traffic Controller, Air Traffic Service Officer or Aeronautical Information Management Officer employed by the ATNS or by a South African service provider.
- Any licenced Ground Engineer employed by a South African operator.
- Any licenced employee holding a SACAA Flight Operations qualification, operating within a Flight Operations Department of a South African operator.
- Any licenced Drone Pilot employed by a South African registered business with a valid RPAS Operating certificate in the primary capacity of operating drones.

Why you should join AVPA-SA
The Aviation Professionals’ Association is the only body in South Africa catering specifically to the needs and protection of aviation professionals. Membership accommodates airline, corporate, charter and freelance aviators, cabin crew and engineers/technicians, and air traffic controllers.
